The family of Becky Watts have said she was taken from them in "such a cruel and inhumane way", ending a "beautiful life full of promise".
Reading an emotional statement, her uncle Sam Galsworthy said they were determined to "reclaim Rebecca's dignity".
"It was a most undignified end to a beautiful life full of promise," said Mr Galsworthy.
Addressing whoever is responsible, he stared directly down the camera and said: "You will forever suffer the consequences of your actions."
The 16-year-old disappeared on 19 February and police found body parts at a Bristol address earlier this week.
Mr Galsworthy said: "As her family, it's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. But we know it is there.
"The support from family, friends and the nation will help us find that light."
Mr Galsworthy said the teenager would "live on in the hearts of all of us" and that "eventually, as a community, we will lay her to rest with the utmost respect and love".
Two fundraising pages to help Becky's family pay for her funeral have received almost £9,000 in donations.
