England's stars looked on in bemusement as a comedian gatecrashed their departure for a pre-World Cup training camp.
Captain Steven Gerrard spots an unfamiliar faceSimon Brodkin, who is best known for his performance as his alter ego Lee Nelson, was pictured attempting to mingle with players and staff at Luton Airport as they waited for their luggage to be loaded onto the plane.
Brodkin, was dressed as his character the "Premier League footballer" Jason Bent, sporting an identical suit to the travelling party and holding a passport.
Simon Brodkin was quickly dealt with by securityHe managed to spend several moments close to the players before appearing to be spotted by team captain Steven Gerrard.
Security staff and police officers then intervened.
The squad look on as the comedian is taken awayRight-back Glen Johnson was pictured cracking a smile as Brodkin was led away.
The comedian was spoken to by an officer before leaving.

The England team is due to arrive in the US in the early hours of Monday morning for two warm-up matches in Miami.
The comedian left soon afterwardsThe first is against Ecuador on Wednesday, followed by a game against Honduras on Saturday.
The Three Lions kick off their World Cup campaign against Italy in Manaus on June 14.
England manager Roy Hodgson boards the planeThe team then have a clash with Uruguay in Sao Paulo on June 19, with Costa Rica England's final Group D opponents five days later in Belo Horizonte.
Speaking to Sky Sports News before boarding the flight, manager Roy Hodgson said: "It's going to be a great adventure I think.
England's squad for the 2014 World Cup"We're all very excited about it and we got the perfect send-off on Friday night (against Peru).
"The crowd was quite magnificent and I think we're profiting from a very positive mood.
"We feel positive, we'll do what we can. There's certainly no trepidation - obviously excitement, but we're aware of our responsibilities, we're carrying a lot of hopes and dreams with us."
